YouTube obviously removed the ‘Inbox’ tab from the mobile app.
It made no sense.
Majority of people go on YouTube to just consume content. A percentage of them engage by liking or commenting on videos. But, almost no one uses YouTube to chat.
The company has replaced the ‘Inbox’ tab with a ‘+’ tab or create tab.
With slowdown of TikTok, YouTube is also ready to take a shot at short-form videos.
Like Instagram, YouTube might also become the next TikTok alternative.
